Imagine the resources that bring you to school: Workshop for children

Sat, Dec 6, 2025, 2 – 4 PM

Where do your pencil leads come from? What natural resources lie behind your school?

Through a treasure hunt and a participatory exhibition bringing together more than 500 pupils from the district, children aged 6 to 12 explore the origins of the materials that surround them and imagine new ways of inhabiting the world.

This workshop, lasting approximately 90 minutes and followed by a snack, is based on the works on display at the Salle du Faubourg. Combining visual arts, natural sciences and sustainability education, it invites participants to observe, imagine and act differently when it comes to nature and everyday resources. Led by mediators specialising in art and the environment, the workshop encourages a sensitive and creative approach to the interdependencies between living things, raw materials and human uses.

Children's creations can be continued at home and added to the collective exhibition presented during the Biennale (re)connecting.earth (03) – Sensitive Resources, a project dedicated to natural resources and circularity.
