As part of the (re)connecting.earth (03) Biennale, Les Scala Cinema is hosting a screening of Outgrow the System, directed by Swedish filmmakers Cecilia Paulsson and Anders Nilsson.

This event extends the reflections developed throughout the Biennale on natural resources, economic systems, and their impacts on ecosystems and territories.

Through a wide range of initiatives, research projects and experiences from different parts of the world, the film questions dominant economic models and explores alternatives in response to current environmental crises. It examines how our societies produce, consume and use natural resources, while opening perspectives towards more sustainable and collective forms of organisation.

The documentary also aims to make these issues accessible to a broader audience. Economics, ecology and democracy should not be limited to specialists: they directly concern our ways of living and our relationship to the world.

The screening will be followed by a discussion (In French).
