Sensitive resources
November 2025 / April 2026
Art and urban nature biennial
The (re)connecting.earth Biennial (03) explores the critical issues surrounding natural resources by combining art and science. After an edition dedicated to water in 2023, it will be highlighting the impact of raw materials - from their exploitation to their repercussions on the environment and human health. Geneva, the world capital of raw materials trading, a centre for the study of health effects (WHO) and a key location for international decision-making (WTO), is strategically placed to examine these global issues from a local perspective. Through artistic and scientific contributions, (re)connecting.earth (03) maps these natural resources and the dynamics that surround them.
The exhibition offers a sensitive mapping of local and global dynamics through artworks, performances, lectures and workshops, encouraging people to think collectively about alternatives for a sustainable and balanced future.
