Co-Creation
For ten days, (re)connecting.earth invites a collective experience.
This phase of co-creation explores our relationship with natural resources — balancing imagination and tangible reality.
In partnership with Climate Week, these encounters will contribute to the third edition of the Biennale, scheduled for spring 2026.
Central location: Salle du Faubourg
Rue des Terreaux-du-Temple 8, 1201 Genève
Open daily from 2pm to 6pm
Opening party on Wednesday, November 26th from 6 pm to 10 pm
To make this co-creation possible, beyond the events themselves, we invite you to discover at La Salle du Faubourg more than 200 creations made by nearly 500 children over the past two years, through our educational program in schools across the city and canton of Geneva.
These works will be presented alongside two exhibition kits:
- "Duchamp au Jardin", previously shown only in schools,
- and the newly developed "Duchamp au Lac", designed to accompany our upcoming pedagogical program.
Both exhibitions draw on content from previous editions of the Biennale and were created thanks to the imagination of artists, with instructions commissioned for earlier editions:
Duchamp au Jardin:
Caroline Bachmann, Andreas Greiner & Takafumi Tsukamoto, Antje Majewski, Adrien Missika, Zheng Bo
Duchamp au Lac:
Monica Ursina Jäger, Diana Lelonek, Maxence Neveu, Uriel Orlow, Carmen Perrin, Raul Walch
With the valued contributions of Pro Natura (for Duchamp au Jardin) and the Association pour la Sauvegarde du Léman (ASL) (for Duchamp au Lac).
You will also have the opportunity to discover three selected video installations by international artists:
- Ana Alenso
- Séverin Guelpa (Parallax)
- Christian Jankowski (The Hunt)
Finally, since this edition focuses on natural resources, we are highlighting three local initiatives fostering the circular economy in Geneva. Each will share part of their expertise and offer participatory workshops:
The Artwerk team will be present throughout the evening to gather your ideas, perspectives, practices, and habits related to natural resources.
These contributions will inform the preparation of the main phase of the Biennale, particularly for:
- the creation of certain artworks,
- the organization of the conferences,
- and the development of the participatory workshops.
This is an opportunity to make your voice heard, share your experiences, and actively contribute to the development of this edition.
